The number of Brits turning to a plant-based or flexitarian diet is growing at a startling rate[i] and this trend has been boosted by world events in 2020, with a third more people eating more vegan food due to the pandemic[ii]. A recent poll by Finder.com suggests that the number of UK vegans is expected to have doubled between Jan 2020-2021, increasing the UK’s vegan population to approximately 2.2 million.
