European Technical Services (ETS) is responsible for setting
policies and standards, and developing systems for quality and food
safety across our European business. Ensuring Heinz consistently
delivers products that meet the increasingly demanding expectations
of customers is what this function is all about.
ETS is made up of these key areas:
- Operational Quality - managing the quality assurance of the
operations and markets in each region.
- Science & Regulatory Affairs - managing science, food
safety and agricultural strategy, plus anticipating and influencing
European and national food legislation.
- Systems - controlling, maintaining and developing robust
systems and processes capable of delivering products that are
consistent, free from defects and fully meet consumer
expectations.
- Supply Chain Quality Management - setting strategies, standards
and systems to deliver compliant supply chains into Heinz Europe
for all procured direct materials.
- Co-Pack Quality - setting strategies, standards and systems for
compliant supply chains into Heinz Europe for all contract packed
finished products.
- Process Improvement Unit - identifying and reducing risk and
non-conformance costs across our European manufacturing sites.
