"I was drawn to Heinz
because of its strong values and commitments not only to its
customers but to its employees. From day one you understand
their desire to make you a part of their team. Heinz is a
company that respects and values you and your ideas. Heinz
also encourages and aides you to pursue those ideas.
My current role is with Tactical
Solutions. Tactical Solutions is a company Heinz works closely with
to drive distribution and availability within the four major
retailers. As a graduate this experience has reinforced the
importance of building strong relationships and how influential
these relationships can be when closing a sale.
The work is very practical but has
allowed me to gain an intimate insight into each retailer. This
experience with Tactical Solutions has enabled me to understand not
only their needs, but also those of the
consumers. When armed with this type of
information you can engineer how you approach the individual, in
order to target what they require and as a result be able to make a
compelling pitch.
At Heinz we understand the need not
only to develop within our functions but also to develop as
leaders. As a graduate you join the company
understanding this need not only to lead yourself but to lead
others and ultimately the business. The opportunity to learn
is constant, which is tremendously exciting. From day one you
are tasked with real responsibility and a great support network
