100g carrot, peeled, topped and tailed
200g red cabbage
50g red onion
50g white onion
1 garlic clove, crushed to a paste
2 granny smith apples (unpeeled)
1 small bunch of curly parsley, chopped finely
Salt and pepper
- Serves: 6
- Grate the carrots and thinly slice the red cabbage, celeriac and onions, adding to a large bowl as you go. Add the garlic.
- Grate the apple and add to the bowl, squeezing lemon juice over it to stop it browning, and mix all the above together.
- Add Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise and stir through to bind the vegetables.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and (if you like) lemon juice for some acidity.
