Instead, our tasty Beanz have been naturally sweetened with stevia extracts (as steviol glycosides) which come from the stevia plant. The No Added Sugar variant also has 25% less salt than the standard product, catering to the increasing number of households who are trying to reduce their sugar intake but delivering the great Heinz taste we all know (and love!). 

 

Are Heinz No Added Sugar Beanz more nutritious than standard Heinz Beanz?

Our standard Heinz Beanz are naturally high in protein, high in fibre and low in fat. They are also naturally low in sugar with only 9.8g per 207g portion making up 11% of daily reference intake. Alternatively our No Added Sugar Beanz cater to the increasing number of households who are trying to reduce their sugar intake with no added sugar, and are naturally sweetened with stevia extracts from the stevia plant as steviol glycocides. They also contain 25% less salt than the standard product, yet still deliver the same great Heinz taste we all know (and love!).

What is the best way to eat Heinz Beanz?

Heinz Beanz are usually best served hot and can be heated easily in either microwave or hob depending on your preference, taking only 2 ½ minutes in microwave for our standard 415g cans.
